Tania supports the development and implementation of global projects at the UN Environment Programme, mainly related to sustainable cities, energy efficiency and climate transparency. She has 10 years of experience in the environment sector.
Before joining UNEP and the Climate Change Mitigation team in 2014, Tania worked at a consulting firm providing technical assistance to cities to prepare their greenhouse gas inventories and mitigation and adaptation climate action plans. Tania is Peruvian and French and holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs, specialized in Energy and Environment, as well as an Industrial Engineering degree.
