Pourya manages, supervises, and coordinates research projects for ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability, chiefly the Initiatives for Governing Food, Water and Energy Nexus (IFWEN) project. Pourya is also the coordinator of ICLEI's global research strategy. A graduate of the Technical University of Munich, Pourya has more than 8 years of professional experience and represents ICLEI in research-related spaces. He is a member of GCoM’s Research & Innovation Technical Working Group.
