Hisham Osman

As a Senior Environmental Engineer with the World Bank, Dr. Hisham Osman serves as a co-Task Team Leader for the Second Rwanda Urban Development Project, leading the aspects of integrating nature-based solutions into urban upgrading for more climate resilient cities. To this work, Hisham brings an extensive background with over 14 years of experience in the fields of environmental and water resources management. As a specialist in developing and applying numerical modeling and decision-making tools for environmental management, Hisham has a track record of designing, managing and implementing complex and multidisciplinary projects in different regions. Additionally, he has significant experience and interest in science and policy research and in communicating scientific results to stakeholders and decision makers.
