André is an Officer in the Innovative Finance Team at the ICLEI World Secretariat. He supports the management of the Transformative Action Program (TAP)’s project pipeline and ICLEI’s engagement in other global initiatives for climate finance, especially in Africa and South America. For UrbanShift, André supports the development of finance related activities, including the "Accessing Climate Finance" module of the City Academies. He has a background in public administration and urban governance, having worked with and researched local and regional development in Brazil, India, and South Africa.
