UrbanShift Argentina Multi-Level Governance Dialogue
Argentina's first Multi-Level Governance Meeting will convene around 30 national and local stakeholders to discuss and collaborate around a range of challenges and opportunities for sustainable development.
The first Multi-Level Governance Meeting for Argentina follows the National-Local Dialogue delivered by ICLEI last December, and aims to identify and address governance gaps in sustainable urban development topics under the framework of the GEF investments in the country and the UrbanShift platform. In this meeting, around 30 representatives will participate, spanning GEF project managers from from Buenos Aires, Mar del Plata, Mendoza, Salta, and Ushuaia, as well as from the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development of Argentina and local leaders from Mendoza. This meeting will focus on designing a governance roadmap to address the following challenges: Project continuity under political changes; technical gaps and capacity building in innovative urban pilots; and progress and impact indicators, monitoring and evaluation in Argentina.
